PlayCare room: Children have exclusive use of a private room for activities like arts and crafts, story time, and snack time and lunch.
Use of play area: We have scheduled Free Choice time in the Playtown during traditionally slower parts of the day. The first free choice period, 9:00-10:00am, occurs one hour before we open to the public, when the only other children present are those enrolled in our preschool program.
School breaks/other busy times: PlayCare will not be offered during traditionally busy times, such as Mid-Winter Break. At other times, open play capacity will be more restricted than in the past and wait lists will be in use, to avoid overcrowding in the play area.
