Discovery Playtown

Camp Information

This year, camp isn't just one program, it's two: Our Voyagers Camp is for kids 2 1/2 to 5, and our Navigators Camp is for kids entering first through fifth grade, in partnership with Maple Valley's STEAMBoat Studio. Discovery Playtown is closed this summer to open play from Monday through Thursday, so that campers can enjoy the entire facility to themselves! As always, camp at Discovery Playtown offers fun themed weeks of crafts and activities, and play in our imaginative Playtown. And new this year, we will be soaking up the sunshine in our outside play and picnic area.

Lunchtime is now included at Voyagers morning camp, and Navigators camp. Send lunch with your child or buy from us; catered by Panera Bread, for $6.00. Choices: Grilled cheese, turkey and cheese, or ham and cheese sandwich, or mac and cheese. Sides: Potato chips, apple, or yogurt. Apple juice, milk, water, and snacks are included with camp tuition.

Registration Options: Voyagers Pre-K Camp offers a morning session, and a new afternoon session. Per the Department of Children, Youth and Families who visited us on July 16, our Pre-K camp falls under preschool rules, which is a maximum stay of 4 hours per day.

Navigators STEAM camp is available for camp only, full day, or customizable before- and after-care offered daily between 8:00am and 5:30pm. Take 20% of hourly rates with a same-day Navigators camp registration.

Potty Training: Fully potty-trained is not required. We ask parents to send pull-ups and extra clothes. We also stock pull-ups and charge $1 for each one used.
